Dr Cedric Banfield
Dr Banfield graduated in 1991 with MBBS (Hons) from St. Bartholomew's Hospital London. Specialist dermatology training was undertaken at Oxford and Great Ormond Street Hospitals. He completed his specialist training (CCST dermatology) in 1999 and works as a consultant dermatologist at Peterborough City Hospital.

Dr Paolo Fargnoli
Dr Paolo Fargnoli graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg in 1993. He grew up in Rhodesia (Zimbabwe) and is Irish-Italian and moved to the UK immediately after graduating in South Africa, and did his GP training in Bury St Edmunds before taking up a partnership in the village of Buckden in 2000. He studied for his dermatology credentials with the University of Wales at Cardiff Dermatology Department and qualified as a GPWSI in Dermatology in 1999, working in West Suffolk Dermatology Department, Newmarket and Addenbrookes Dermatology department and finally resting in West Cambridge region doing time with Cedric Banfield consultant dermatologist at Hinchingbrooke hospital. Since then he has grown the community dermatology practice and has also taken on other projects in the dermatology local healthcare arena for Huntingdonshire as well as other ventures such as vasectomy and lymphoedema.. He has enjoyed the past 20 years of providing community dermatology services to the local population and hopes to continue this service for another 10 years!
Dr Anna Trigell
Dr Trigell is a GP at Eaton Socon Health Centre and did her post-graduate diploma in dermatology in 2002. She has three children of which two are twins so her hands are kept full!
Dr Tim Mears
Dr Mears qualified in 1989 from University College Hospital, London and completed his general practice training in 1996, when he also completed his Diploma in Practical Dermatology. He has been working as a general practitioner in St Neots since 1996 where he has also been working as a GP specialist in dermatology and minor surgery.
Dr Mike Henchy
Dr Henchy works as a sessional GP and does alot of vasectomy work, as well as training people to do vasectomies.
Dr Vicki Clark
Dr Clark works as a GP at Nuffield Road Medical Practice in Cambridge part time two days a week and fills her other time with dermatology.
Dr Kate Milne
Dr Milne graduated from London in 1985 and has been a GP for 30 years .For the last three years she has been able to extend her interest in skin diseases by working in community dermatology in Cumbria. In 2018 she completed the Diploma in Clinical Dermatology at Queen Mary College, Barts and The Royal London Trust. She has 3 grown up sons, so she can now enjoy walking her dog and going to Pilates classes in her free time.
You may well know Veronica who used to be based at Hinchingbrooke Hospital. Her skills reach far and wide in providing this most valuble serrvice to the patients of Huntingdonshire.
Rebecca Penzer-Hick is an experienced dermatology specialist nurse having worked in a variety of different settings. These include hospital services, specialist community nursing services and Universities in research, development and teaching roles. Rebecca’s main areas of clinical interest are helping patients with chronic skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis or acne. As well as working clinically, Rebecca is a Clinical Lecturer on the Masters in Clinical Dermatology programme at the University of Hertfordshire. She is the President of the British Dermatological Nursing Group (BDNG). In 2009 she was awarded The Stone Award- the BDNG award for significant contribution to dermatological nursing. In her spare time Rebecca is learning to play the piano and loves going away for holidays in her camper van!
Kathy qualified as a nurse in 1988 and started her career in dermatology in 1990. She has relocated many times due to her husband’s job and worked in many dermatology teams in both outpatient and inpatient settings as well as a community project. She has worked jointly between clinical and academic practice since 2012 initially at the University of Hull and currently at the University of Hertfordshire where she is a Senior Lecturer in the department of Postgraduate Medicine. Kathy’s clinical skills focus on supporting patients with chronic inflammatory skin conditions. Her children have grown up and flown the nest and she enjoys singing in a local choir and runs and cycles regularly.
I qualified as a nurse in 2001, and for the last 8 years I have worked within the lymphoedema speciality in 2 nearby hospices. I am really looking forward to joining the team at Buckden and Little Paxton surgeries, and meeting my new patients. live in Buckden with my husband, 2 children and our dog.
